Independence for Tobago promised again – Election candies exposed

Political Leader of the Progressive Democratic Patriots (DPD), Watson Duke formally launched his 2020 campaign for elections last Friday evening is confident that he will be victorious for the people of Tobago.

However he’s promising a state of independence for the island of Tobago; something many politicians have promised in the past and Trini natives have fussed about.

During a LIVE Facebook media conference this morning, Duke said he’s fighting for all Tobagonians and their right for a better country.

He insisted that they have been threatened to  vote for the ruling party or stand the consequences of losing employment.

Duke said he is ready and able to challenge the Prime Minsiter, Dr. Keith Rowley in the election ring.

Folding his sleeves up as he is ready for a boxing ring, Duke said he can go toe to toe with the Prime Minsiter for Tobago’s Independence.

Meanwhile come December 1st, Watson Duke will no longer be the head of the PSA as he announced a few months ago that he will be focusing on his political career; however his current union members are anxiously waiting for salary negotiations to be settled before he leaves office.
