“Hypocritical Kamla” is unfair statement says UNC Senator

UNC Senator Jayanti Lutchmedial has said that any attempt to describe Opposition Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar as hypocritical is “unfair”

Persad-Bissessar  recently criticised Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley after he declined to answer reporters’ questions on Wednesday on T&T’s worsening crime situation and calls for a state of emergency.

Asked to comment on whether her Party Leader was being hypocritical in criticizing the Prime Minister for walking off on the media on Wednesday, when she herself has been largely unavailable to the media, Lutchmedial said that the UNC as a whole was more available to media than it has ever been.
