A group has expressed interest in the closed Petrotrin refinery.
Government explains the interested party would have to be able to address several issues.
These include having the financial capacity to operate the Pointe-a-Pierre refinery as well as asset management.
It was revealed government is still interested in getting the refinery restarted and operationalized.
However, no proposal has been submitted by the group as yet.
Energy and Energy Industries Minister, Stuart Young, says there is still a level of optimism surrounding the development.on
