The Coast Guard has been asked to assist with the search for missing hiker Qadir Shah.
Shah was among a group of 15 people who went hiking in the Paria Bay, Blanchisseuse area without notifying the police.
When the hikers got to Turtle Rock Bay, they all went in for a swim and reportedly got into difficulty.
Fourteen hikers were saved by a fisherman, but 30-year-old Shah disappeared after struggling for some time.
Shah hails from Beaucarro Road, Freeport.
