Police are trying to determine the circumstances surrounding the murder of a Valencia farmer on Sunday night.
The victim is 51-year-old Alvin Jones of Plantation Road.
Jones was found lying across a box drain with stab wounds to his chest and back.
His body was discovered around 8:25pm by police, who were responding to a call about a wounding incident.
Jones was identified to police by his wife, Carol Seales.
