Bermuda’s donation of 9,000 AstraZeneca shots due to arrive in TT this afternoon

The 9,000 AstraZeneca vaccines donated to T&T by the government of Bermuda, is expected to arrive at Piarco International Airport this afternoon.

The announcement was made via a press release by Minister of Foriegn and CARICOM Affairs, Dr Amery Browne.

In the brief statement, Browne announced the scheduled arrival of 9,000 World Health Organization (WHO) approved AstraZeneca COVID19 vaccines from Bermuda today at 3:50 p.m.

The release added: The vaccines were generously offered to the Government of Trinidad and Tobago by the Government of Bermuda from their existing allocation of vaccines.
The Government of Trinidad and Tobago extends its appreciation to the Government and people of Bermuda for their generosity and support.
