A dismembered body was found in waters off Chaguaramas.
Dragon boat racers contacted police officers on Sunday just after 8 am after seeing what appeared to be a leg floating in the water.
They also reported seeing a torso with an arm still attached.
According reporys one of the boaters raid they also saw aarbage bag floating in the water.
Officers believe the deceased is male and was disposed in garbage bags.
