Local gospel artistes are being urged to create content for local and international Christian movies, film series and television shows.
They are told to pursue this course of action as there is growing potential within the industry for sync licensing opportunities.
Minister of Trade and Industry, Paula Gopee Scoon, made the plea as she delivered the Feature Address at the Trinidad and Tobago Gospel Music Awards Ceremony on Sunday at the National Academy for the Performing Arts, Port of Spain.
The event highlighted the contribution of our local gospel artistes that have excelled in this genre of music during the past year and provided an opportunity to promote local gospel music internationally.
