San Fernando CID are investigating the robbery of businesswoman Jowelle De Souza on Wednesday night.
Fifty-three year old De Souza was at her Palmiste home when five men entered at around 7.25pm.
One of the masked men entered a bedroom where De Souza was in, while the other four searched the home.
Police said De Souza was slapped and her hands bound.
The men ransacked her home taking documents from a safe inside her bedroom, Louis Vuitton handbags, two Apple iPads and other items.
Police retrieved closed circuit camera footage at the scene.
A search was conducted of the area, but the suspects were not found.
