An Arima man was arrested by officers of the Northern Division Area East Team after he was found in possession of $4353.00 and 37 grams of marijuana.
Between 3 pm and 7 pm on July 15th, in an exercise targeted towards drug blocks, the officers proceeded to the Arima Drag Mall where the Christina Gardens resident was observed by the officers and subsequently detained.
In another exercise, 210 grams of marijuana was seized during a house searching exercise which occurred between 12 midnight and 2:30 am this morning.
The officers proceeded to an occupied property in the Arima District where the quantity of marijuana was found and seized.
Investigations are continuing.
