Attorney General Faris Al Rawi says he has taken very careful note of the observations and statements made by various trade union bodies and members of the protection agencies regarding the management of the ongoing covid 19 pandemic.
He says the priority of any Government is to speak to and provide for the best interests of its citizens.
Addressing this issue, at a media conference on Tuesday, AG Al Rawi said despite data presented, the Government continues to be compelled to consider lives against livelihoods in arriving at its proposed mechanisms.
As it relates to the topic of the Government’s vaccination policy within the public sector, the AG indicated that he has extended invitations for consultation with labour stakeholders.
