7 more deaths take total toll in T&T to 1117

Seven more persons have lost their lives due to COVID-19 in Trinidad and Tobago.
This brings the total number of persons locally who have succumbed to the virus to one thousand, one hundred and seventeen.
In its latest clinical update the Ministry of Health says the persons were three elderly males, two elderly females and one middle aged female with co-morbidities.
The Ministry says two hundred and thirty-two additional persons have tested positive have tested positive for COVID-19.
It says fifty-two persons have been discharged from public health facilities.
There have been one hundred and thirty-one recovered community cases.
In terms of patients at hospital with the virus, the number stands at three hundred and twenty.
Five thousand, one hundred and eighty –nine persons are in home self-isolation.
There are one hundred and seventy patients in state quarantine facilities.
At step down facilities the number of patients is eighty-two.
Thirty-two thousand, six hundred and thirty-seven patients have recovered from the virus in Trinidad and Tobago.
