The Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago is taking steps to help the country navigate its ways through the impact and fall out of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This approach was revealed by Governor of the Central Bank, Dr. Alvin Hilaire while speaking at a virtual news briefing on Thursday.
Dr Hilarie said the C.B.T.T. has also adopted a team work approach with key stake holders to help better manage the present situation surrounding the virus.
The Central Bank Governor said the financial institution is doing what is required to ensure its policies are done in coordinated ways.
Dr Hilarie also highlighted some of the benefits which have been achieved in the insurance sector.
