A police involved shootout in the Long Circular area this morning, resulted in the deaths of two men.
Police officers were on an exercise at Dibe Road, Long Circular around 6 a.m., when they were confronted by gunfire.
Officers returned fire and two men were shot.
The suspects were taken to the Port of Spain General Hospital, but were pronounced dead on arrival.
The men are yet to be identified.
