Woman chopped during altercation in Tobago

The hunt is on for a man who chopped a 30-year-old woman during an argument in Tobago.

The incident took place around 7am Monday along Northside Road in Mason Hall when the woman was confronted by a man known to her.

The suspect approached her and there was an exchange of words.

The two, police were told, had a prior altercation.

The man then pulled out a cutlass and chopped the woman to her left wrist causing a wound.
The suspect then fled the scene.
