A CEPEP worker was shot dead at a job-site in Caroni on Wednesday morning.
Arshad Baal, 34, was working at Royal Tern Avenue, La Paille Village, Caroni around 8am, when a white Nissan Wingroad drove near the work site and shot several times in Baal’s direction.
He was rushed to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, Mt Hope, where he later died of his injuries.
One other worker was injured in the shooting.
Investigations are continuing.
