Watson Duke is unlikely to give up his post at the PSA to take up an executive role in the THA.
This is the suggestion coming from PDP Deputy Political Leader and THA Chief Secretary Designate, Farley Augustine.
Following the PDP’s massive upset in THA elections, which saw them win 12-3 over the PNM, speculation has been rife as to what Mr Duke’s political future holds.
Although he is the political leader of the PDP, he has openly said that Mr Augustine will instead be the THA Chief Secretary.
He has always left room for speculation as to what his own role will be in the event of the PDP’s victory.
However, Mr Augustine told Power 102 Digital’s Power Breakfast Show that Mr Duke’s political future is in his own hands.
