A quantum of vials of Covid-19 vaccines have been discovered missing from the Couva District Health Facility.
The South West Regional Health Authority (SWRHA), in a release, said the vials were discovered missing on Friday 15th October and confirmed on Saturday following preliminary investigation.
The SWRHA said while an investigation is underway, the public is reminded that as a matter of public safety, the Covid-19 vaccines should only be accessed at Ministry of Health authorized vaccination locations.
The public has been asked to be on high alert and contact the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) should they be in receipt of information, which pertains to the disappearance.
