A vendor at the Chaguanas Market was gunned down while packing up his stall on Sunday night.
Daryl ‘One Eye’ Mc Carty, 35, of Caroni Savannah Road, Charlieville, was packing up his stall around 8:30pm, when a gunmman stepped out of a white Nissan B15, walked up to Mc Carty and then opened fire.
The shooter then escaped in the waiting car.
Twelve 9-mm spent shells were found at the scene.
Investigations are underway.
