Five people were shot and killed in separate gun attacks on Friday night.
In the first incident, which occurred at around 7pm, police report that a group of men were ambushed in Kelly Village, with two men being fatally shot.
The two victims have only been identified as ‘Ruben’ and ‘Birdman’.
A third man was shot and rushed to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex in Mount Hope. However, he succumbed to his injuries.
The second incident took place around 8 pm, in the Enterprise area.
Police said two men, identified as Jamal Absolom, 21, and Anil Ragoobar, 37, were at the corner of Johnson and Enterprise Street, Enterprise when gunmen approached and shot them.
Investigations are underway.
