UNC takes credit for vaccine arrival – calls gov’t arrogant

The United National Congress says it is “pleased at the fruit of our tireless efforts to ensure that Trinidad and Tobago gets vaccinated quickly and in the required numbers, while taking advantage of the offer of free vaccine donations from India, and other sources.”

In a release issued this afternoon the Opposition said it “fulfilled its role of taking up the slack left by this heartless, arrogant and destructive Government.”

The release continues by saying that, “Dr. Keith Rowley insulted our CARICOM neighbours, calling them “beggars”, to hide his and Terrence Deyalsingh’s negligence and inaction.”

The Opposition said it worked hard to keep this issue in the spotlight and on the table, and to expedite the opening and commencement of rebuilding Trinidad and Tobago’s economy.

The United National Congress said it will continue to work for the people of Trinidad and Tobago, even in Opposition.
