Two Years Ago Government Had Suspicion About Certain Activities At SSA

For the past two years Prime Minister, Dr Keith Rowley, says he had suspicion and concerns of certain activities in the Strategic Services Agency.

He said this is why a police probe is being done into the development.

Speaking at the weekly post cabinet news briefing Wednesday afternoon, at White Hall, the Head of the National Security Council said the government will be open and transparent in the matter.

The Prime Minister revealed the SSA was not supposed to have armoured officers until November of last year.

This position was approved by the cabinet.

However, there could be legal implications if this is not followed.
