“All we want is for the internal election date to be announced!”
That’s the comment from Rushton Paray who spoke with the Power Breakfast Show this morning.
Commenting on a story in the Guardian Newspaper that he would no longer publicly talk about the United National Congress’ National Executive elections in the media, he said there was misinterpretation.
He said he is not in the habit of standing down from anything and all he wants is for the election date to be called.
He said that he would not engage in mud-slinging.
He was referring to comments made by Dr Roodal Moonilal during a press conference yesterday.
Dr Moonilal said that some MP’s from within the UNC are holding discussions with the ruling People’s National Movement in secret.
