Two Men Killed In Valencia And Claxton Bay Road Accidents

33 year old Terell Brown of Claxton Bay and 42 year old Amrit Nowbut of Brazil Village lost their lives in separate road accident.

Around 10.40 pm on Monday Nowbut was killed when his motor vehicle  a white Nissan Ad Wagon was proceeding west along the Eastern Main Road, Valencia, in the vicinity of Mt. Zion Church reportedly attempted to overtake traffic and collided head-on with a 25 seater red band maxi taxi driven by Sanjeev Kallian, 42 years, of #4 Guaico Sangre Grande.

Nowbut succumbed to his injuries on the scene, whilst Kallian was conveyed to the Sangre Grande Hospital with serious injuries.

Around 1.30 am officers from the St Margaret’s Police Station responded to a report of a road traffic accident along Hermitage Road, Claxton Bay, and upon arrival observed vehicle a silver Hyundai Tucson crashed onto a concrete wall on the northern side of the roadway.

The driver was identified as Terell Brown age 33 years of #2 Clement Joseph Drive Claxton Bay, who received fatal injuries in the collision.
