Two men are currently being interrogated by Central Division detectives after being arrested in connection with a robbery which occurred yesterday in Cunupia.
Police are currently searching for a third suspect.
At 11.22 am on March 26th, a woman was at her workplace located in Cunupia when three men accosted her and proceeded to rob the establishment of the day’s sale.
The trio later escaped in an awaiting green Nissan B-13 motor vehicle which sped off into the Las Lomas #2 area.
Police were subsequently notified and a team of detectives attached to the Las Lomas Police Post responded and conducted preliminary enquiries. The investigative team, led by Sgt. Figaro and Sgt. (Ag.) King, and supported by Cpl (Ag.) Cato, conducted an intelligence-led operation which resulted in the arrest of two suspects who both reside in St. Raphael.
