TTUTA says that it supports the suspension of the three boys from Diego Martin North Secondary School for their actions.
TTUTA President Martin Lum Kin told News Power Now this morning that the boys were indeed placed on suspension.
He said that the Association reached out to the school to confirm the information and were informed that one of the three boys completed his suspension however he never reported back to school.
Since the Education Minister’s confirmation of the suspension many parents have taken to social media to express their disgust with what they have described as a punishment that is far too lenient.
However Lum Kin said based on TTUTA’s information surrounding the incident they believe that in this case suspension of the guilty students is as adequate.
