The Police Service is taking action to deal with criminal activities before the start of the 9am to 5pm curfew.
Commissioner of Police, Gary Griffith, speaking at the weekly TTPS news briefing this afternoon, said the TTPS is doing what is required to ensure law and order.
The head of the TTPS said the service has also noticed incidents of speeding on the nation’s roadways and this will also be addressed.
Meanwhile, Inspector Ashraf Ali of the TTPS Operational Command Center is appealing for the proper usage of the Curfew Hotline and is urging the public to indicate early their situation.
