TT Parliament Pays Tribute To Queen Elizabeth II

The longest serving monarch of the United Kingdom, Queen Elizabeth II, will be remembered for her grace and enduring calm.

These are some of the traits highlighted by Acting Prime Minister, Colm Imbert, as he paid tribute to Her Majesty.

Mr Imbert commended Queen Elizabeth for her commitment to country and how she was able to navigate the many challenges faced by her nation, personal life and the world.

Opposition Leader, Kamla Persad Bissessar, said Trinidad and Tobago can emulate the positive traits displayed by her Majesty as a source of inspiration.

Meanwhile, House Speaker, Bridget Annisette George,noted the various characteristics she admired about Her Majesty.

The Member of Parliament for Siparia also spoke about her ability to stay focus in spite of the tough times encountered.

MP Persad Bissessar said this was a standout feature of Her Majesty’s life.
