Queen Elizabeth II: Mourners Gather At St. Paul’s Cathedral For Ceremony Of Remembrance

King Charles III delivered his first televised address to the nation as sovereign following the death of his mother Queen Elizabeth.

The speech was recorded earlier on Saturday (local time) from Buckingham Palace.

A service of remembrance at St Paul’s Cathedral is now underway.

Around 2,000 members of the public are said to be attending the service along with government leaders, including Prime Minister Liz Truss and London Mayor Sadiq Khan.

Senior members of the royal family are not expected to attend.
