Tobagoians Commended For Creativity In Agri-Food Products

Tobagonians are being commended for being creative in the production of a wide range of agri-food products.

However, there is an admission there is still a need for training to expand its brand in a number of areas, including quality, packaging and standard.

This is in order to meet the needs of the tourism and hospitality industry and to gain recognition outside of Tobago, through exports”.

These points were highlighted by Secretary in the Division of Food Security, Natural Resources, the Environment and Sustainable Development, Nathisha Charles-Pantin.

She was speaking during discussion held this week between the Division and the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture Delegation in Trinidad and Tobago.
