The Oilfields Workers Trade Union would like to meet with the Public Utilities Minister as a matter of urgency.
The Union says that it wants to discuss issues as it relates to T&TEC.
The Union has hand delivered what is its second letter to the Ministry seeking a meeting with the Minister.
President of the union Ancel Roget speculates that there may be plans by T&TEC or at least recommendations to reduce staff.
Officers from various branches of T&TEC were present including Arima, San Fernando and Tobago were present outside the Public Utilities Ministry at 1 Alexander St Clair.
Roget said since October 2020 the Union requested a meeting with Gonzales and he admits that there has been an exchange of correspondence between the two.
