Hernia Doughty
The sister of Independent Senator Hazel Thompson Ahye is missing .The retired Nurse Hermina Doughty has been missing since Saturday. She was last seen driving her silver Nissan Wingroad PBR 634 on the Dinsley Road towards the Eastern Main Road in Tacarigua around noon. She failed to attend a family mass on Sunday morning at Arouca Holy Trinity R.C. Church and the Towers Prayer Group meeting at the R.C. Cathedral on Monday.We kept checking her house but did not see her car. She takes good care of her 5 dogs and would not leave them unattended .
A few years ago the regional health authority awarded her the Florence Nightingale award for excellence in nursing. She was in charge of Blanchisseuse Health centre for many years, when other health visitors were unwilling to serve there. Until recently
she worked at Arima health facility. The family has checked with the Arouca police , Anti kidnapping squad, hospitals, hotels etc. to no avail.
Please notify the police urgently if you have any information which may help her family to locate her.
