Statement put out by Starlite Pharmacy in light of a recent Facebook post which went viral; with claims of racism, and unsuitable working conditions for employees.
In a previous report an ex-employee claimed she was not told how much her salary would be, nor was she given the post with which she was hired for, but instead placed at the company’s warehouse, over claims that “fat female” workers who were not fair skin in complexion were not allowed to work at the stores.
Starlite Pharmacy in response to these allegations said, “our mission remains to promote a culture of diversity, inclusivity, and health and wellness – making a positive impact in our community!”
