GoFundMe started for comedy icon Tommy Joseph

The friends and family of Tommy Joseph is appealing for assistance after the comedy icon suffered a stroke.

Joseph is warded at the San Fernando General Hospital and has reportedly been struggling with poor health for some time having also faced cardiac related medical issues.

A friend of Joseph revealed on Facebook that the comedian suffered a stroke a few days ago, and a CT scan revealed another issue which requires emergency surgery.

A GoFundMe account has been set up to assist the family with expenses, as he has been out of work since the start of the pandemic two years ago.

A $200 comedy show titled Stand-Up with Tommy and featuring top entertainers, comedians and DJs is scheduled for August 20.
