Six persons are assisting police with enquires into various offences including Possession of Drugs, outstanding warrants and robberies after they were arrested on Wednesday 25th October, 2023 during anticrime exercises in the Tableland Policing District.
The party of officers arrested three men ages 23, 40 and 52 for outstanding warrants. Several search warrants were also executed, targeting drug blocks and Priority Offenders, during which an additional two suspects were arrested; a 54-year-old man for possession of cocaine, a 31-year-old woman for possession of marijuana, the officers also arrested an 18-year-old man for robbery enquiries.
The exercise was coordinated by Supt. Rampath and ASP Phillip and supervised by Insp Mohammed Sgts Ramdial and Sooknanan and included members of the Tableland Police station and Southern Division Task Force.
