In light of the Tropical Storm warning in effect, the Ministry of Education has mandated the closure of all ECCE and Primary schools and some Secondary Schools.
According to a media release from the Ministry, CAPE examinations carded for today will proceed as scheduled with the requisite Secondary schools remaining open.
Students at these schools who are not writing the exams are advised to stay at home along with non-essential teaching staff not required to the conduct of the exam.
All other secondary school are to remain closed.
