Robbery suspect held with glock in San Fernando

A man wanted in connection with a report of robbery that allegedly occurred earlier this month in San Fernando was Saturday nabbed by officers attached to Southern Division Task Force (SDTF).

The suspect, a 46-year-old man, was allegedly intercepted and found to be in possession of a Glock 17 with five rounds nine-millimetre ammunition along Woodland Ext, Borde Narve Village, San Fernando.

The man is currently detained at the Marabella Police Station assisting detectives with enquiries.
According to police reports, at 6.20 pm on March 23rd, 2024, SDTF officers received information about the suspect that led them to Woodland Ext, Borde Narve Village. There, they spotted the suspect and a search ensued.

During the search, police allegedly discovered the weapons and the man was immediately arrested.
