Retired Major General Ralph Brown described as ‘true soldier’ at funeral today

Retired Major General Ralph Brown was acknowledged  this morning for his leadership and guidance of the Trinidad and Tobago Regiment during the 1990 attempted coup by the Jamaat Al Muslimeen.

His contribution to national development and security was recognised by retired colonel Lyle Alexander.

This was done during a tribute to the senior military official at his funeral service which was held at the All Saints Church at Queen’s Park West in Port of Spain this morning.

Alexander gave some insight into Browne’s outstanding military career, his ability to get the job done professionally, his interaction with others, his support for sports and his love and support for his family.

He said that the Retired Major General was described by many who worked under him while he serviced in the military as humble, adorable, and committed to the welfare of his troops.
