Jowelle De Souza makes history as the first trans woman sworn into the Senate

Social/Political activist and hairstylist Taylor Jowelle De Souza was sworn in as a temporary Opposition Senator.

De Souza was sworn in today Tuesday 15th February, making history T&T in the senate as the first transgender woman to be Senator and have an active role in politics.
