Red Force Cricketers In Control Against Jamaica in WICB Championship

Trinidad and Tobago Red Force cricketers will start play on Day Three of their four day West Indies Championship match against Jamaica Scorpions in search of five more wickets to close the visitors second innings at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy at Tarouba.

Scropions closed play on Day Two on 199 for 5 leading by 22 runs after they were asked to follow on.

Jamaica made 125 all out in reply to the 302 made by Red Force batting first.

The home team enjoyed a first innings of 177 runs.

Tion Webster captured five wickets for 36 runs and Terrence Hinds had 3 for 40 to help restrict the visitors below 130 runs in their first innings.

So far Anderson Phillip has taken two wickets along with Bryan Charles.

Captain and West Indies player Jermaine Blackwood has been the  top scorer with 68 runs.
