Miss World 2021 finale postponed due to positive COVID-19 cases

The Miss World 2021 pageant has been postponed due to several “positive COVID-19 cases” within the organization.

A media release issued this afternoon, thursday December 16th detailes a meeting held with virologists and medical experts hired to oversee the Miss World 2021 event.

The release states that the “Puerto Rico Health Department, the decision has been made by the organizers of the event to postpone the globally broadcast finale at the Puerto RicoColiseum Jose Miguel Agrelot to be held within the next 90 days.”
