A Petit Valley man is expected to appear before a San Fernando Magistrate today, charged with the murder of Keveion Valentine Junior, which occurred on Christmas Day 2020.
AKIEL SYLVESTER, 22, was charged with the offence following advice received from Assistant Director of Public Prosecutions, George Busby, on Monday 4th January, 2021.
Junior, 27, of La Lune Village, Moruga, was at his home on Christmas Day, Friday 25th December, 2020, when he got into an argument with four men. During the altercation, Junior was stabbed in his chest and died at the scene.
The accused gave himself up to Homicide Bureau of Investigations (HBI) officers on Saturday 26th December, 2020.
Sylvester was charged by WPC Callendar of the HBI Region 3, on Monday 4th January, 2021.
