129 persons had to be accommodated at emergency shelters across Trinidad and Tobago due to the passage of Hurricane Beryl.
Of this amount 26 are children and 103 adults.
This is disclosed by Chief Executive Officer of the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Management, Retired Major, Rodney Smart, at a news briefing held Monday afternoon.
He said a contingent of defence force personnel are in Tobago providing support to the Tobago Emergency Management Agency and the Tobago House of Assembly.
He thanked all those who would have showed team work during this serious time.
