WASA still fixing issues with Santa Cruz Waterworks; expect completion by Tuesday

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in Santa Cruz and environs served by the Santa Cruz Waterworks, who are currently experiencing a disruption in their pipe borne water supply that this is due to a defective pump at the facility.

Emergency repair works presently underway are expected to be completed by Tuesday 12th October, 2021. Areas affected include: Jaggan Village, Pax Vale, Flamboyant Avenue, Gasparillo, El Carmen, Upper and Lower Cantaro, Pipiol, Sam Boucaud, Akal Trace, Upper Sunvalley, Upper Mayfair, Upper Grace Gardens, Upper Sinanan Gardens, Pepper Hill, Appericho Circular.

Customers are advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the scheduled pipe borne water supply to normalize to some affected areas following the completion of these works. A limited truck-borne water service will be available upon request.

For further information or assistance, customers are asked to contact WASA’s Customer Call Centre toll free at 800-4420/4426. The Authority apologises for the inconvenience and thanks customers for their patience and understanding.
