An Opposition Member of Parliament claims citizens are being placed under additional pressure by the government with fines, taxes and borrowing.
MP for Oropouche West, Dave Tancoo, made the allegation during his contribution to the debate on the Finance Bill, 2021 in the House of Representatives this afternoon.
MP Tancoo called more effort from the ruling administration in areas such as job creation, creating better conditions to attract investors and diversifying the economy.
