An early morning shooting in Sangre Grande has left one man dead and 2 others nursing gunshot wounds.
Around 2:15am, 24-year-old Malique Campbell was in the yard of his home at North Eastern Settlement, Ojoe Road, Sangre Grande, celebrating his birthday, when gunshots were heard.
Campbell, along with his friends 20-year-old Terique Kerr and 22-year-old Jesse Kevin Baptiste were shot and wounded.
Campbell was grazed on his forehead, Kerr was hit to his lower back and Baptiste was shot in the chest.
They were rushed to hospital, where Baptiste succumbed to his injuries at 2:55am.
Police are investigating.
