A shooting in Curepe has left one man dead and another seriously injured with a bullet wound to his thigh. Dead Is 26-year-old Shelton Sherwood of Stella Street, Curepe while the injured man has been identified as Johnathan Need , 32 also of Curepe.
Reports indicate the men were standing with a group at around two in the morning near the Golden Arches restaurant and bar when they where approached by a man with a t-shirt pulled over his head.
As the man approached he opened fire hitting the two men while others scampared to safety . The injured men were taken to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex where Sherwood died.
Police are continuing investigations.
