Investigators are currently conducting enquiries into an incident in Sangre Grande on Monday night, which left a 20-year-old man dead and another nursing gunshot wounds.
Residents of Robinson Lane #1, Damarie Hill, Guaico, called the police after hearing multiple shots around 7.50 p.m.
When police arrived they discovered the body of Nathaniel Pursue, 20, with a gunshot wound to the chest.
Pursue was found lying in the yard outside of a house.
Another resident – Keston Stephens, 26, a labourer, – was found with gunshot wounds to the neck and face.
The men were rushed to the Sangre Grande Hospital but Pursue was pronounced dead on arrival.
