MP Khadijah Ameen Calls On WASA To Provide Truck Borne Water To Residents

The Member of Parliament for St. Augustine, Khadijah Ameen,  is calling on the Water and Sewage Authority to provide an adequate supply of truck borne water to residents in the constituency.

The calls come after reports and videos of a ruptured main along the Churchill Roosevelt Highway in the vicinity of the Kaydonna Roundabout.

MP Ameen  says WASA is also doing repairs to the 16” diameter pipeline at the corner of Centenary Street and the corner of the Churchill Roosevelt Highway leaving Pasea Extension, Centenary Extension, Picton Extension, parts of St. Augustine, parts of Curepe, Macoya Extension and the Macoya Industrial Estate without water.

WASA  is being asked to provide truck borne water to residents and to the schools in the area while repairs are being conducted.
