Mason Hall Sec. to be sanitised after student contracts Covid19

On Sunday, the THA’s Division of Health, Wellness and Family Development revealed that Tobago recorded its first case of Covid19 in 30 days.

Today, they have announced that yet another new case has been recorded, a student of the Mason Hall Secondary School.

The Division of Health says the school will be closed for deep cleaning and sanitizing, and it is working with the Division of Education to manage this situation.

The student’s case is the second case in two days for the island since the end of January.

Secretary of Health Tracy Davidson-Celestine says the new case shows how vulnerable the island is at a moment’s notice.

Davidson-Celestine called on Tobagonians to ignore the noise, fake news and misinformation on the vaccine, since at this stage, the jab is critical to a long-term solution.
